Forget the Kansas-UNC Connection North Carolina and Kansas have been inextricably linked for a long time. Dean Smith started that one. Now it appears UNC is becoming connected with another prairie school, Nebraska. Last season, Joe Dailey was the starting quarterback for Callahan's Husker football team. Now, he's decided to transfer to UNC. Meanwhile, King Rice, the former UNC point guard, is joining the Nebraska basketball coaching staff.
